What I collect, and why
Server access logs. When you visit the Site, my hosting provider automatically records technical data needed to operate the server and protect it from abuse:
- Your IP address (truncated where the host supports it)
- The page you requested
- The date and time of the request
- Your browser type and operating system (from the User-Agent header)
- The referring page
These logs are kept for up to 30 days and then deleted. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating a stable, secure website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Email correspondence. If you write to me, I receive your name, email address, and the contents of your message. I keep messages only as long as needed to handle your request, then archive or delete them. Legal basis: legitimate interest, or pre-contractual steps if you’re asking about engaging my services (Article 6(1)(b) and (f)).
What I do NOT collect
- No analytics (Google Analytics, Plausible, or otherwise)
- No advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party trackers
- No newsletter signups or marketing automation
- No comments or user accounts on the Site
Cookies
The Site does not set any cookies on your browser. The only cookies that could appear during your visit are:
- WordPress session cookies — set only if you log in as an administrator (this applies to me, not visitors).
- Wordfence security cookies — set by my security plugin to verify that you are a human, not a bot. These are classified as “strictly necessary” under GDPR Recital 30 and the ePrivacy Directive, so they do not require consent.
Third-party embeds
If you visit the “About Me” page and press play on the embedded video, content is requested from YouTube or Vimeo. Until you press play, no cookies are set:

Hosting
This Site is hosted by Hostinger (Hostinger International Ltd.), a hosting provider headquartered in Kaunas, Lithuania (EU). Hostinger processes server log data on my behalf as a data processor under GDPR Article 28. All data is stored within the European Economic Area; no transfer to third countries takes place. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data I hold about you (Article 15)
- Correct any inaccurate data (Article 16)
- Delete your data (Article 17)
- Restrict how I process it (Article 18)
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest (Article 21)
- Lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your EU country (Article 77). In Lithuania, this is the State Data Protection Inspectorate (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija) — vdai.lrv.lt.

Children
This Site is not directed at children under 16. I do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Changes to this policy
If I update this policy, the “Last updated” date above will change. Material changes will be highlighted on this page for at least 30 days.
